3 strategies to get promoted faster as a leader

When it comes to getting promoted, we have been trained to believe that if we work hard, perform well, show we can lead teams, and fit into the culture, we've got strong chances.

In fact, for most of us, these things helped us to get promoted to our first managerial or leadership role. But then, we get stuck. We're not being considered for more senior roles or for the types of roles we really want. Or we are advancing, but not at the pace that we'd like to.

Why? Because the game has changed and the stakes are higher. What used to be differentiators, are now hygiene factors - they are now the bare minimum expectation for someone operating at any level of leadership.

So, to advance further, we need to differentiate - again.

And this time, it's not about work and delivery, and it's not about waiting to be recognised and offered a role.

It's about:

- building the CONFIDENCE to step up and embody leadership

- POSITIONING ourselves to be visible and make a meaningful impact, and

- boldly SETTING UP our promotion event

To advance further, we need a strategy and the courage to take the driver's seat.

Watch this video to find out how.
